Assistance for Error Codes

If anyone is having any kind of Error code, clean head icon or any other concern, contact me first before assuming you have a problem. My e-mail is Ssample@jvc.com.

I am knowledgeable and have helped many people past their error codes without service. Several things can cause error codes and I would be more than happy to assist you in determining if you do indeed have a problem and what options you have available.

  I have a friend who is dire need of some help. He's up in NH on a mountain and his DCRTRV11 keeps shutting down on him and giving him Error Code 3210 & 3211, any idea how to clear these in the field? Something to do with the cassette carriage from what he explained.

  I have a Jensen cd changer in my truck and it is getting E08 and will not play anymore. the error is defined as a dirty disk or improper placed disk...neither is the case. Do you have any suggestions?

  The CD player in my jeep will not work. error-4 comes up each time I try to play a CD. The radoo works fine. Help!! Am I going to have to buy a new CD player? How can I trouble shoot ? Thanks

    I have been having the same problem. One day I put my CD in and received the exact same message. I even tried reseting the system, with no luck. Likewise, the radio works fine. I have no idea what this is. Anyone else know anything about this error message?

  I have a Sony CDX-4250. When I insert a CD, it sits there for a bit (the CD doesn't seem to spin) and then an error code of 04 appears on the screen.
  
  I have no idea what this means or what I need to do to correct it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

      Hello Chris, I wound up going to Wal-Mart in a last ditch effort to fix this thing. I bought 1 can of canned air and a cd cleaner which was basically a CD with some tiny brushes glued on the surface. I started by using the air can to spray all around inside the CD compartment hoping to dislodge any dirt that might be in there. I then used the cd cleaner. I think I may have had to use it twice. But, after all that, it started working! Hope that works for you! Rodd

  i try to use my mic on my desktop computer, the mic is internal, and i try to use it and it gives me this message

  I have a Sony PVW-2800 that has been out of service for over a year. I have tried hooking it up to transfer some old tapes to the DVCAM format. I'm getting an error-20 code. I am not able to insert a tape, and I can tell the heads are not spinning. Any suggestions?
