Hello, I have a JVC BR-S811U editing recorder that won't play or record. I put a tape in and it will rewind and fastforward but when I press play or record it ejects the tape. Most of the time I get a error code 32 but sometimes I get an error code 58. What do the error codes mean and is it worth fixing this old machine? Thanks a million.

We have a JVC rear-projection big screen TV, with picture in picture, model AV-50D501 or 60D501 (there is a discrepancy between the basic tag and the paper labels on the rear of the TV). It was manufactured in April 2000 (Code PIMS). After coming on, which can take as much as 30 seconds, the screen will get darker the longer we view it. Can this situation be repaired easily, or is it time for a new TV after such a short time?

I have a Jvc Camcorder (#GR-D90U) and i'm having the same lens cap message problem. When it happens, i'm not able to see anything on the LCD display nor record anything. The picture often come in after i remove and reinstall the battery pack. Have you had the problem diagnosed?

Hey guys, You are certainly not alone with this problem--it appears that many others have encountered this problem with this dvd video camera. I can't even find the software to have my PC recognize the camera to download my movies into the PC... CALL this number to have camera repaired!!!!, April 4, 2006 Reviewer: Natosha C. Gra "NGray" (Mebane, NC United States) - See all my reviews Found this on JVC's website under CUSTOMER NOTIFICATION...this model is one of the reported ones, hope this helps everyone with this problem... JVC has received reports that in certain circumstances, a small quantity of units of the models listed below, may, while in the camera mode, show no picture, a distorted picture and/or display "LENS CAP" even though the lens cap is removed. We have identified the cause as a failure of the CCD image sensor. Until October 1, 2007, repairs of units exhibiting these problems will be made free of charge at JVC Factory Service Centers. Click thisFactory Service Center link to find your nearest location. Please call (800) 858-6442 if you need any assistance in obtaining a free repair. We apologize for any inconvenience and are appreciative of your understanding and support.

Hey I just happened to come upon this site I am looking for a JVC service center because as in the post that was posted my camera only shows a black screen and says lens cap even though it is off. I was wondering about the model numbers that are available for free service on this problem and where I could send it for the repairs? I would appreciate greatly any information you could give me! I am in central Oklahoma, if that helps in finding a service center closest to me. Thank YOU!

A week ago, i sent an email regarding my JVC Video Camcorder Model GR-SXM330U (Ser. No. 076J0923). I was thinking i sent it to a different JVC department & i got a response from Mr. John Rasa. I'm also an electronic tech and the problem with my Unit is a dead LCD. The reason for this is because of a broken Flex cable. The Flex cable is totally cut off due to normal wear & tear (when you open and close the LCD display). I looked into you parts list and i found a part # for this unit's model. The part # is QLD0176-001 (LCD Module). I need to know if this Part # includes the Flex cable on the LCD assembly. I need to make sure of this before i put-in my order. According to your list, this cost about $181.00. Please respond. Thank you so much. Have a nice day.

    Hi,
I have a JVC GR-DV500US Camcorder. Since a few days ago, it's only possible to record in blue and white. And the blue objects appear in yellow/orange in the viewfinder/LCD screen. My camcorder is no longer under warranty.

Hi i have just bought a new JVC DVL-820u and was wondering how to transfer the DV tape onto the PC i am using XP and i have a Compusa Firewire card that works fine. when i plug the cam up it makes the noise like its reading it but doesnt show the extra E drive. i think the problem is i don thave drivers for the Firewire to read the cam. also the camera didnt come with any software so i didnt know if maybe that could be the reason that i couldnt get it to read. if you could tell me where i can download the software or buy it please let me know
    PLEASE ANY HELP WILL DO
