I have a JVC Model GR-DX770. In the past the camera has worked well. The unit will not charge nor will it power up when I connect the charger directly to the camcorder. I am unsure whether the problem lies with a dead battery or the charger unit. Do you have any ideas? Thank you.

I purchased a JVC GR-D90US on Dec. 6, 2003. I also soon after thar purchased a GR-D275u, doing so I used the GR-D90us very little.Tthe last time was at a reunion in Sept 2005. It worked fine then. Two weeks ago I went to edit some tape of the reunion and the Vidio recorder would not work. It had a distorted pic and no pic in the record mode. I took it to a local Vidio store and they, checked it out, and said it was, on a recall from JVC as it had similar problems like the ones I was haveing. I find this true, on jvc web site. My question is I no longer have the recept but purchased this thru home shopping in 2003. It needs to be repaired-replaced as it is still in new condition. What is the process to do this. I have a JVC stereo reciever that is about 20 years old. The front panels are lit by a fuse that looks like it is 12 volts .15 amps. These fuses (there are three) are mounted behind the three readout panels on circuit boards and glow to back lit the panels. I have not been able to find a place to buy these fuses. Do you know where I can buy these? Thanks

I have a GR-D72US which suddenly has started giving E01 code and asks me to take out the battery and reseat it. I did that but the problem is not solved. I tried it without the battery directly on AC, it still did not fix it. What is the solution? How do I fix it. Sandhi Bhide beaverton, OR 97006

Hi my sister bought a JVC TV model AV-K29MX3 and the problem is that she lost her remote for the TV. She bought an RCA remote but as we tried to use the remote in sequential up and down is ok but in direct access like Channel 20, by pressing 2 the channel changes already. So the only way to change channel is sequentially one by one up or down. When I called the JVC service center they said we have to order the remote 2 to 3 weeks and it cost us almost 2,000 pesos in the Philippines. But when I tried the universal remote to another brands everything is OK. Bad experience for JVC indeed, very bad.

I am having a problem with my JVC HXD7 as it appears many other people are.. it displays protect and shuts down frequently and i'm wondering if there is any way to correct this problem. any advice or hints you could provide would be greatly appreciated thank you.

Hi there I have a JVC stereo model no CA-s50RBK and it has worked fine for the past 12 years I have moved house and we had a problem with the electricity supply. It flicked on and then straight off a few times. However when this stopped the stereo upstairs, which was working, stopped working. I thought the fuse had blown but i have checked that and the fuse is ok. Do you have any ideas what i can do before i open it up? Is there an internal fuse? Really hoep you can help Martyn
