Assistance with JVC product

If anyone has a question regarding a problem with thier JVC product (error codes, safeguard mode etc) write me for troubleshooting assistance. Please provide your model # if available and note this site so I can assist you better.

  I purchased my dvd/vcr (dr-mv1)1 year ago and its no longer working. The unit began to make a buzzing noise through the audio. Then it decided to stop working all together holding hostage a DVD. The unit wouldn't not respond to any buttons on either the romote or the unit itself. I even tried unpluging it but it too didn't have an affect on it.
  
  What can I do to get this thing working again?

  my jvc camadore model DR30
  play back ok
  at the time of starting shows CAPS LOCK After some times it disappear and distorted image or lines appear
  after 1 hour it may or may not start functioning.

  the number is 148C1929 and the problem is i can't hear no sound through the speaker and the fan won't come on in the back

    Its really a question of does the unit light up? as if it doesnt have you checked the power lead / plug. However if it does light up then its most likely to require a service, as there is nothing you can do about rectifying the situation.

  hello, i have a JVCGR-D72U camcorder...it has been working fine and the other day the display screen is now showing hundreds of color vertical lines. when i put the lens cap on they go away and the screen has some grey shading and black,. when the cap is removed the humdreds of vertical clor lines reappear...it looks like the camera is trying to focus but you are unable to see anything...The viewfinder also displays the same image, i assume they are somwhow connected...
  
  do you have any idea what is happenig and what i an do to fix it? is there a way to rest the camera from a service menu etc?

  We have a JVC AV27S33 27'. We cannot turn it on, nor from the power button, nor with the remote. This morning (6/27/06) was working just fine. Can you help us to solve this problem? Thank you. Silvia Giorgini

  I had a problem with my JVC camera and used my cousin's JVC camera...Same problem happened there. The model" JVC GR-DVL 120U Serial # 077A0529. Appears to be same problem most have with the E03 Safeguard mode. I have ejected battery etc, and still doesn't work. Even when I have miraculously got it to work, it faulters again soon after.
