Assistance with JVC product

    JVC AV-36050....Picture will go to a black screen after some time of watching television, but the sound is still on. Tried to change channels, same problem. The only thing that seems to work is to turn off the television for an hour or so, then it will be fine. Then it will do the same thing again. Any ideas on what could cause this, or if it is something that we are able to repair ourselves. If it needs to be taken to a repair shop, what should the cost of the part be, I don't want to get cheated by a repair person.

    I have a JVC Gr-DVL120 camcorder that was dropped and now the auto or manual focus will not work and the zoom sticks. Any idea what it will take to fix it and what the price would be. Les

    I have a "JVC" AV COMPULINK TV MODEL AV 31BM3. When I try to auto program or manual program the tv, it scrolls through the channels but will not keep them in memory. As a result, I can only get channels 2-16 and channel 61. The channel guard is locked and I can't get it unlocked.How do I fix this problem? The tv screen will also occasionally go black with a fine horizontal ine across the screen. If I hit the tv on the cabinet side, this clears up for a while before the screen goes black again.Cna this be fixed easily? The picture quality is great when the the screen is not going black. I also have lost the original remote but Ibought a universla remote. Are their features on the original remote that are not on the universal remote which prevents me from unlocking the channel guard? Your suggestions please. Jack Cribbs

    My JVC GR-SXM260 has a lens cap error. It says that my lens cap is on even though it's not. When I hit record, it records a black screen, but I have sound. Everything else seems to work but the recording due to this lens cap error. Please help!

    Have a JVC Digital Video Camera, model GR-DR2500 and it is in the safeguard mode whenever I put a tape in. There is also the number 3 in the lower right hand corner of the dialog box. It prompts me to remove and reinsert the tape and when I do, I get the same message.

    I have a JVC GR-D70U. I do not use it much, however, this Christmas I charged the battery and attempted to use it Christmas morning. I keep receiving a message that the lens cover is on. It is not on. How do I get this fixed? Thanks, Jim

    I havea AV-35BP4 Color Television. The problem is that it will go black after a few mintues, power still being on (the red light) we usually just hit the televison on the sides and sometimes it turns on, (the screen). My friend said it was the televison bulb but I have no clue but could you help us? Thank you!! Sincerely, Jack

    HI, my name is Tim and i have a jvc gr-d70aa camcorder and I won’t to capture my footage to my computer, very simple? But every time i connect the firewire cable it connects fine for like 30 secs, and asks meet do I won’t to capture! then disconnects it self?? I have no idea why this it happening? and i tried the USB cable to capture but it needs a driver. If you could give my any hint what is wrong that would be MUCH appreciated! Tim,
