Assistance for Error Codes

If anyone is having any kind of Error code, clean head icon or any other concern, contact me first before assuming you have a problem. My e-mail is Ssample@jvc.com.

I am knowledgeable and have helped many people past their error codes without service. Several things can cause error codes and I would be more than happy to assist you in determining if you do indeed have a problem and what options you have available.

Please refer to this site if you contact me. Thank you.

Hi we have a Panasonic Home Theatre System. Model NO. SC-HT650. Error code F61 is coming up. I can't even get a DVD out that I really need. Is there any thing I can do to get those out, or fix the problem myself??\

    Thanks

I have a Panasonic SA-HT67. I am getting the same error on my display. When it forst happened I unplugged my system for about a minute then plugged it back in. That seemed to work until today. After trying that method several times I still get the F61 error. The local service center wants to charge $25 to just look because "the error doesn't give you a specific answer as to what is wrong with the system. That is why we have to run a diagnostic..." Drives me nuts. Anything to get you in so they can make a buck. And the manufactures make stuff to not last, so they can make more 2 years down the road. Talk about the fleecing of America. By the way have you noticed that you have to turn the volume up higher now then when you first bought the system? Is your cooling fan working? Because mine has stopped. If you find something please let me know. Thanks

Hi there-- did you ever get any resolve on this issue (error code F61)? RE: the fan. I'm told that this fan comes on when the volume is turned up to a higher level. at low levels, it apparently doesn't come on. --dan

hello ken, did you find any solution? i have the same issue with this piece. thanks.

Just curious if you found a solution to this issue. I have read that it is a voltage regulator issue and the actual part is in the $15-$20 range. Let me know what you found out if anything. I have the same unit with the same error.

Hi, I`ve had this problem here and I don`t know whats does it means. But you can eject the tape in the MENU. In MENU, you choose TAPE PROTECTION then choose next mode and set TENSION RELEASE and eject the tape. you`ll have to wait some seconds to to the the tape goes out.

hi i have a problem with my Clarion 6CD changer in my car. its a ARX4670R Head unit and a CDC634 boot(trunk) changer. I'm getting code CD CH ER6 which, according to manual means cannot read table of contents (disc probably upside down). Discs are not upside down. would lens be damaged? are they easily replaced?

I have a UVW 1400A that has a weird problem with the left channel audio LED. It stays pegged to the red, although this is NOT affecting the actual audio level - its only in the left LED.

Before I took it in to be serviced, I could RCA-it (smack it on the side with my hand) and it would go back to normal, but now it just stays pegged.

Is this a board problem? LED problem? None of the diagnostics I have seen show audio at all!

Thanks for any help you can give,

    Best regards,

    Bill Slater
