Assistance for Error Codes

If anyone is having any kind of Error code, clean head icon or any other concern, contact me first before assuming you have a problem. My e-mail is Ssample@jvc.com. I am knowledgeable and have helped many people past their error codes without service. Several things can cause error codes and I would be more than happy to assist you in determining if you do indeed have a problem and what options you have available. Please refer to this site if you contact me. Thank you. Stacy Sample Service Coordinator Houston, Texas

I know this is a reply to a very old post but I just had the same 21-1C1 error. You remove the cover. There is a 2 screw plate to hold the carriage in place, remove the plate. Unplug the little multi-plug from the carriage. Remove carriage. Towards front of machine you will see 2 gears with a "worm" gear inbetween them. With your finger, turn the worm gear so that the gears run without sticking (this is the error). Just a couple of turns and it be loose. Re=assemble the deck and you should be able to play the big cassettes. Those gears should be cleaned and lubed by a pro but this fix will keep things running for a while.

I have a sony dsr-25 DV Cam recorder-player and recently started constantly flashing error code c:21:00 which indicates moisture condensation. The manual says to take out tape and wait one hour with the machine on. The machine has not had a tape in it and has flashed the error for much longer than one hour and continues to flash the error. Is there an internal battery for the machine that needs to reset or do I need to take a hair dryer to the unit? I have hardly used the machine and it stays in an air conditioned room so I am not sure why the error message occurs. Do you know of a fix to keep me from having to send the unit off to a repair facility and pay someone lots of money to reset it? I have had the heads replaced one time and had no problem with it until recently. Thanks for any help that you can give me.

Panasonic CD Stereo system Model: SA-AK22. Displays an error message "F61" when it is turned on, then it shuts down. This must be a circuit problem? Previously had and still has a problem that CD drawer wouldn't open. Now it won't function in any respect. Thank you, R. Nankee
