Assistance for Error Codes

If anyone is having any kind of Error code, clean head icon or any other concern, contact me first before assuming you have a problem. My e-mail is Ssample@jvc.com.

I am knowledgeable and have helped many people past their error codes without service. Several things can cause error codes and I would be more than happy to assist you in determining if you do indeed have a problem and what options you have available.

  • Sony DSC-W1 - LENS will not close - E:61:00 ERROR CODE Wilson - 8th Oct 2005 19:48
    Flashing on screen. Camera will not focus, blurry image on LCD - Lens will attempt to close on power down but will not. Makes noise and that's it. Please advise if camera has no hope or there is a reset fix.

  my sony camcorder dcr-trv 250 keeps beeping and a c:31:23 is flashing and i cant play any tapes they seem to just stop and i cant do anything else im just stuck what is the problem? thanks

    you need to take the battery off for 10 minutes then drop this camera on the floor make sure on carpet or uou can hit it from bottom hard. then place the battery back. thats all you need to fix it. if not working repeat the same thing again . my camera worked like that . good luck.

  I am having an error code: 12,22 with my 42" Sony plasma model number, PFM500A 3WS,seems to be a power problem, please can you provide me with any information about this

  I have a Sony Handycam DCR-HC21. It is displaying a error code E:61:00..The manual say contact Sony. Can this be fixed without them?

    According to my manual, the E61:00 error means that an engineer or an authorized Sony repair shop needs to fix it. ** I had this same error yesterday. I took the little lithium battery out of the camcorder and replaced it. The camcorder now works (records and zooms etc)- however I can't play back now. I'm trying to figure that part out now.

  My DSC P5 gives error E 61:00 and the lens goees in but comes out again when turned off. Can you give me an advice?

  I have a Sony VCR model SLV-920HF after playing for about a half hour the picture starts getting an increasing pulse of interferance, in the following 5 minutes the picture will freeze, acompanied by a buzz from the speaker, then the tape stops playing. The tape time display changes to " L:30:01".
  Is the problem minor?
  I would appreciate any help you can provide.
