Nick - 2nd Sep 2005 12:35 I have a Sony DCR-PC5 digital video camera recorder that has a flashing C:21:00 error code. I believe this means that condensation has occured. Sony advises you leaving the product out in open air to correct the abnormality. However, this doesnt always work. I've read your message in Pechorin's and i've turned to you for help. ??? thank you,
Nick

Vod - 20th Nov 2005 9:53 Hi, it seems that other people recommend that you remove the battery (or batteries if there is a smaller round battery asd well) to let the camera "forget" that it had an error condition. Here is a thread that deals with the error condition C:31:XX, but there is also someone who had the C:21:00 that you mention.

try whacking the camera on the side with your palm and take out the tape and reinsert it. It should work. It did for me.

Jim - 9th Sep 2005 20:10 I have a fairly new Panasonic DVD-LX8 which is giving me an error code H03. I have tried to find out what this means but so far no luck. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you
- Re[2]: Error Codes Assistance
h03 is a pest - 30th Nov 2006 4:14 hello. i'ved had my panasonic portable dvd-lx8 for over 2 yrs now and have just encountered the h03 error code. first of all....i have no computer it/technical experience, but have read that apparently this error code refers to a spindle problem. i have tried the following method (copied and pasted below) with success, however....have had to repeat this step several times. the track seems to keep getting jammed somehow. i wish i could take a better look to see if there is some sort of dust or something jamming it (the cables keep the housings so close together.) well, good luck to you.......
"For the people who already own the device, I saw a solution posted for the HO3 error on the internet by a user named Hossan, and it worked after I tried it myself. All you need is a small Phillips screwdriver. Remove all 12 screws from the back of the player. After removing the back cover, you will see the unit with the laser lamp mounted on rubber suspensions. Carefully lift the unit off the suspensions. Turn the unit around carefully so that the cables don't come off. Close to the servo motor, you will see a small black thumb wheel. Turn it, and the laser lamp should move along the rotating shaft. Turn the thumb wheel, so that laser lamp moves away from the center towards the edge. That should release it from the stuck position. All this takes maybe 15 minutes. Don't let some service guy talk you into shelling out a hundred or more dollars for repairs."

Hi,
I am glad to hear that you may be able to help.
I have a sony kp-53xbr-300 purchased in Nov 99 that flashes 5 times, the service mode says I have 73 AKB circuit errors. I have no idea how to proceed. The set works OK but every couple of minutes the picture will flash on and off which drives me nuts.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Mike

no one replied so i will. The tv repair guy came out ( took two weeks ) and
said there was nothing to do except replace all three guns (rgb). He did clean
the mirror and lens which made a difference. cost $110.00
ouch
