Assistance for Error Codes

I am knowledgeable and have helped many people past their error codes without service. Several things can cause error codes and I would be more than happy to assist you in determining if you do indeed have a problem and what options you have available.

  I am getting error message c:13:01 on my Mavica CD400, after I've taken 50 - 60 pictures. At first it said Disk Full. I turned it off, placed a new CD in and took more pictures. After putting the what I thought was full disk back in, it says Disk Error c:13:01. Is there any way to retrieve these files without having to pay $140 as I was quoted by a recovery company? They are important pictures, but not $140 worth.

  I have a panasonic VHS/DVD Player witch give me error code F498.
  I cant even open the CD drive.

    Hi i've got error code f498 and cannot evan open dvd draw and error f499 which won't play dvd 's i have a panasonic dvd rv32 any info on this regards Ady

      Hello fellow F498 Panasonic sufferers. It would appear that this fault can no longer be repaired. My tame electronics guru tells me that this is another example of a 'common' fault that the manufacturers deny any knowledge of. I paid a lot of money for this combi and have had no real use from it. Panasonic are no help. I now no longer buy Panasonic (I used to buy nothing else!), and tell all my friends and relatives about this experience. That's a little bit less profit for Panasonic, perhaps next time they will recall faulty goods.

  I have 2 Sony cameras,a Dsc-S50 and a Dsc-S70,with the same problem. Cameras power-up,then C:13:01 error code,and "for infolithium battery only" pops up on lcd,then cameras power off within 10 seconds. Is this a board or ribbon problem? thanks.

  ccd-trv318 sony i can record but all i see is a black screen. when i play it back i can only hear but see nothing. any ideas? thanks, jared

      Did it give you an error code? If so then write yahoo and give them the code then tell them that launch isnt working. They should get it fixed shortly after!

  Ihave a Sony DSC-P71 Camera-it now displays error code e61:00.
  Sony wants $171.00 to repair, it cost %370.00+ new 3 years ago.
  I like the camera but ihe repair cost is pay more than 1/3
  of the cost of a Sony DSC-H1. Should I repair or replace?
  If i can repair at a fair price approx $100.00, I would repair
  the camera for my daughter and still buy me the Sony DSC-H1.

  Hi
  i have a problem with my Cannon camera. When i connect it to the computer, i just get a small box that opens that informs me no camera found. On going to system, hardware it comes up with error code 38. (device still in memory)I have tried the trouble shooter, uninstalling then reinstalling still no joy. i have tried to uninstall the software via windows xp uninstall and it cannoy do so to most of the cannon entries. Could you help me Please
