Assistance for Error Codes

I am knowledgeable and have helped many people past their error codes without service. Several things can cause error codes and I would be more than happy to assist you in determining if you do indeed have a problem and what options you have available.

  Hello, I have a Sony Handicam and am getting the E 61:00 flashing..The only change in function I have noticed is that the lens will only focus at a specific zoom..either higher or lower zoom will bring camera out of focus..Sony said since the camera is 6 months old (exactly) they will cover parts but not labor..Labor is over 200 $..Any advice would be much appreciated..Thanks.

  i have a volkswagen sharan .
  i put the cd and then the car stereo ejects the cd and say in the display
  error 1.
  
  the tape and the radio works good.
  
  what is error 1?

  Please help...I have a Sony DVD player, model DVP-NS355. When I try to play a +R Disc it displays error code C 13 70. According to the manual this is "dirty disc" but these are brand new discs etc.

    I have the same DVD player, and I am now receiving this exact same error on any DVD I try to play. I have a feeling that something has drifted inside the case and is obstructing the lens, but have no idea how to correct this. The player is less than 6 months old, and used infrequently (perhaps about once per month). TIA, -PK

      I've got the DVP NS930 dvd player. I have just burned a dvd and at the computer it works perfectly but when I put the dvd in my dvd player then the DVD doesn't start. When I want to start the disc, then it displays error C:13:70 Dirty disc. Can somebody help me? Many thanks, Rick

  i have a sony pc100e and i get the code c:32:11 flashig when i turn it on could you tell me what the problem is please

    I don't know! I got the same code last night, but I have a small history before it. My camera would eject tapes as normal, but once you put in a tape it wouldn't swallow it.. I tried so hard to close it without pushing in or damaging the camera, but it wouldn't. One day, just out of nowhere I tried "maybe for the last time" and it did close! After that day on I am so scared of opening the thing, I record only on the memory stick (I know, the quality blows, but better play safe than be sorry). And on the next day - baaam, that code showed up. It doesn't bother me, though... The thing records and I'm happy. It's good enough for band videos to be uploaded on youtube. If you want to see the quality I'll probably put some in the next few days to a week, so go to and click on the more recent videos... you'll see it.

  My PC show error Code 28 in PCI Management Bus.
  Can you please3 tell me how To sort this problem.

    On a Sony VCR SLV-E710 got the 3L 31 cc error code at display. Any idea of what is causing it? How to solve it, once play function not working anymore? Where to get error code description for this product? Many thanks,
