Assistance for Error Codes

I am knowledgeable and have helped many people past their error codes without service. Several things can cause error codes and I would be more than happy to assist you in determining if you do indeed have a problem and what options you have available.

  i've got a panasonic SV-AV100 camcorder but there's no picture through the lens, it comes up with a code RS385 can you help ? many thanks .Snake

  To everyone having this C31.22 or 23 problem, as I was - unbelievably, the answer is to smack the side of camera sharply with the palm of your hand a couple of times.   I have a sony TRV17 that's giving me the c:31:42 error. I've read in some other boards that if one takes apart their camera and re-assembles it, that that sometimes fixes the problem. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me, and as such, I still get teh C:31:42 error.

  I have a RCA VHS-C camcorder that reads EO3 Reattach battery. I can reattach battery and it works for a while and then it locks up again. What can I do?

  I just found your message from 2004. I hope you're still willing to help. I'm in Afghanistan with no technological assistance and I'm receiving the same H03 error message mentioned in your discussion. Facing a year with no TV or DVD is just too much.

  I have a Sony SLV-675HF (VCR). More often than not when I use the VCR, error codes have been coming up lately. This freezes my tape inside and doesn't allow me to do anything. After some time it works itself out. The code showing now is: 32505. Any suggestions?

  My Kodak CD33 is getting error code 25 and the lens is stuck. I have removed and replaced batteries, but no change.

  I have a 2001 4runner. I have been getting ERR1 messages for years, only on some CD's, but they play fine on my other CD players, and on my computer.
