Jap - 3rd Sep 2004 20:05 Might be that you use CDs with speed more than 4X. This is not supported, at least not on my CD200

Aloha: Recently, after taking shots near the ocean, the SONY DSC-P1 indicated a C:13:01 Memory Stick Error. The contact points look corroded on the chip and I was curious if salt spray could have gotten into the camera housing. Next, is it possible to recover images from the chip?

Catherine - 4th Sep 2004 1:59 C:13:01 error on Sony Memory Stick with Sony DSC-P1 camera. Resolved using Photorescue software (www.datarescue.com/photorescue). It costs $30 but is easy to use and allows a free download first to view the pictures it will recover. Highly recommend Photorescue.
