Assistance for Error Codes

If anyone is having any kind of Error code, clean head icon or any other concern, contact me first before assuming you have a problem. My e-mail is Ssample@jvc.com.

I am knowledgeable and have helped many people past their error codes without service. Several things can cause error codes and I would be more than happy to assist you in determining if you do indeed have a problem and what options you have available.

  Hi There! Got an error code on an Sony UVW-1800 machine displaying Error 94-0000. I looked on the manual and someone has wisely decided to remove the entire section with the error codes. To top it all off, I hurt my back on the ice today and can't lift heavy equipment. Any idea what this code indicates? Thank you! -Alex

    Error 94-000 Betacam UVW-1800/1800P This error is caused by a macrovision signal on your source tape or DVD. It is a protection encoded in the top of the image of the movie. The Betacam recorder detect this and stop to record. Jonathan

  Sir,
  i have a Sony TRV62 Hi8 cam corder. It has been displaying
  code C31:22 repeatedly and shutting dowm. Ever time I have run a head cleaning tape for 30 seconds and retried. I continue to have the problem. Do you have any suggestions to solve this

  Hi Stacy,
  I have a betacam 1600 giving me an error 06-6A7? It happened while playing a tape.
  I have no idea what this is. Can you help me out please?

      Hello Guys I have had a few cdx changers and the only time codes came up was when.......get this...I almost guarantee this is your problem.... You must be kinda wise and remember where things go and have a bit of electronics know how, just like how to put it back together, Dont be scared it is super easy!! IF THE CD CARTRIDGE WONT COME OUT OK Take the thing apart and you will see that the cds have escaped from their cage and now they are sandwiched in the units moving parts thus ERROR code! FIRST try to get them shoved into the cartridge they are supposed to be in! if you decide that is your problem but cant get anything to move just take it somewhere and dont pay too much it is just getting the cds out. In a good rearender accident I got into one time All my cds dumped out of the cartridge and into the unit. I bought a cdx-a20 on ebay "FOR PARTS" because it wouldnt work Well I just looked in the hole where the 10 cd cartridge goes in and long and behold John Micheal Montgomery greatest hits sandwitched in the mechanism ...I just reached in and pulled out the best country cd I OWN! I dint try the changer yet but I would guess it works better without the cd stuck in it! I REALLY HOPE THIS IS YOUR PROBLEM IF NOT SONY HAS SUPER CUSTOMER SUPPORT, I JUST TALKED TO THEM TODAY!     rewet the unit, in your receiver there is a small button hole which you press in. that should work

  I need your help please. I saw your assistance message in the audio and video equipment discussion forum. I have a GM C D Player and when I insert a C D it sends a error message E 20 then ejects the CD. Please help me to fix this error if you can. Thank YOu
