    Hi Stacy,

I haven't been using my DVF31 for about a year. Last time when I used it in Vegas, it worked perfectly.

Today I bought another JVC and tried to compare their performance and my old DVF31 could not record picture on it (or black picture). The auto-mode always shows blinking Focus indicators.

Could you tell what caused it?

    Thanks,
    Shaoqing

  • Samsung DEW Sensor Problem Celena - 9th Dec 2004 4:49
HELP!! My MiniDV Samsung camcorder has shut down because "dew" keeps flashing on the LCD screen. It will not take a tape or do anything. Is there a way to reset the sensor or remove it. If so, where is it located within the camera? Thanks.

I have the same problem with my video cam. Any solution other than send back to the agents for repair?

DEW TAPE MESSAGE APPEARS IN THE SCREEN AND IS NOT POSSIBLE TO USE THE CAMERA, WHEN THE CARTRIDGE IS LOCATED, IS JUMP OUT.

    • Re: Samsung DEW Sensor Problem John - 20th Dec 2005 11:20
Same with a Sharp didgital camcorder.....anybody who can offer an inexpensive disabling service for dew sensors would have a steady business project. The cost of replacement is very nearly the cost of a new, discount price, camera.

The gauge of dew - black small square hardly is higher than a video head To wipe by pure cotton wool (not by spirit) Not an outcome - to take apart the chamber to cut off the gauge, to replace by the resistor 470 Ohm Nickolay Ukraine nian2005@yandex.ru

By replacing the dew sensor with a 470 ohm resistor did this fix your problem? This is so frustrating..I love my camera and want it to work, so I can complain about other things like its non ability to accept stereo input audio.. Peace, Pete

    Hi
During playback there were lines across the screen and my camcorder flashed up a message saying head cleaning was required. But when i put the mini DV head cleaner in and pressed play, it came up with E03 remove and reattch battery, then went into safegaurd mode. Basically i can't clean my camcorder because of this E03 error which only comes up when the head cleaner is in the camcorder. Please Help!
