Hello, I seem to have a problem. I am desperately trying to import video from my jvc camera to my computer but I lack the drivers. My model is the gr-sxm-37u, and I was wondering how to get a hold of the drivers or compatible drivers for a newer model. Thank You Mauricio
- Re[2]: JVC service or questions
JB38 - 1st Mar 2007 18:45 The model of camcorder you mention is a Super VHS analogue device and cannot be coupled into a PC unless the PC is fitted with an analogue video capture card, needless to say drivers are not applicable to this model.
Without an analogue capture card the only other way to get video into a PC is to use a DVD recorder to transfer the video on to a disc, then put the DVD disc into your PC assuming that you already have some form of video editing programme installed in the PC.

We have a Digital video camera GR-90u
when we put the cassette in it immediately rejects it. It is supposed to accept it in and then bring it down into the belly of the camera. The minute we close it in, it pops open.
Screen says........ Condensation, operation is paused. This was not wet.
Please help.
Thank you so much!
- JVC 35770 vertical deflection problem Mac - 3rd Mar 2007 11:54
Have been intermittently experiencing a problem for several months where all I get is a single horizontal line across the center of the screen when powered on. If I tap on the side of the TV then problem generally corrects itself, but lately it's taking more than just a tap to correct. Set is well out of warranty. From reading comments on similar problems it sounds like it might be a simple loose solder joint and easy to fix, so before I open her up and start wiggling wires around (since I have no schematic to know where the vertical deflection circuit connection might be) can you make any suggestions? Thanks!

R Bryan - 3rd Mar 2007 16:59 I have a 27" JVC TV model AV-2771S that has worked well for years. While it was working yesterday my wife heard a short static noise and the sound stopped. The picture works fine. It's not related to the Direct TV box because there is not static/sound whent he TV is switched from channel 3 to another channel. Do you think it's worth taking in to be repaired or is it time to replace? Thanks for your help. Dick Bryan
- Re[2]: JVC service or questions
JB38 - 3rd Mar 2007 20:01 Something like described can actually originate from the programme source and so its not worth spending any money until this is proven / dis-proven one way or another.
If it transpires it is a warning of a fault about to occur nothing terrible will happen anyway as the TV power supply would shut down, the classic symptom of this being a flashing timer light.

Have the same model..same problem. Had a tech come over and the diode is bad on the convergence board. However he replaced part..now the tv doesnt work at all. Just makes a clicking noise then goes into safe mode. He,s still trying to find out what the problem is...but yea its cost about 200.00 with labor just for the diodes to repair the board..and i still have no tv.....
