I have the DVl 9000U and this morning I started getting the E03 code. Is it worth fixing or just get a new one? Thanks.

My jvc digital video camera will not let me do anything, but for a few min. I will try to watch my tape, or record something, or just have it on, and it will work for a while, but then it will say " unit in safeguard mode eject and reinsert tape" then turn off if I don't. Please help!

    Sincerely,
    Stephnaie

My problem is the E03 / E04 warning message. The JVC repair center can repair it, but it is too expansiv (more then 300Euro!!!) My plan is to repair it by my self, but I dont know how. Thanks D.

I have a JVC model GR-SXM260 that shows the error code of E02 when power up. It won't eject the tape either. Suggestions?

    Hi.
I have a JVC XL-PG39 portable CD player. It worked fine until today. Now I get a message that says "disc" when I try to play a CD. It does it with all different CDs and these CDs play fine in a normal CD player. What is causing this? Can I fix it?

I have had my GRDVP3 for over 3 years. Did some filming yesterday and wanted to playback both on camcorder and tv, keep getting an error message E03 - unit in safeguard mode, remove and reattach battery ? What is up ? Thank you in advance.

I had the same problem. What I found was that my camcorder was not slowing down while rewinding as it approached the beginning of the tape. This caused the tape to jam. By detaching and reattaching the battery, the camcorder takes up the slack in the tape and often would then be okay to use. In those events where this did not fix the program, I was able to carefully remove the tape, and, with some of the tape exposed, carefully rewind it by hand. Eventually, however, this problem continued and even worsened. I have a maintenance contract on my camera so I returned it for service. Unfortunately, there were unable to fix my camcorder and have offered to replace it. Hope this is helpful.
