JVC KD-SX990 While listening to the radio message "Mechanical error E9" flashes with the message "eject CD". You can hear the CD whine and try to eject a CD. This occurs frequently but the radio still plays

I had the same error message on my identical unit, disconnected the power supply for a couple of minutes, reconnected and the problem was gone. I have no idea why but the problem is an electrical mis-signal of some kind, apparently.

I have a JVC GR DVF-31 mini DV camcorder. I was getting an intmt EO4 code error, which locks out the tape control buttons; now it is constant, whether in play or record mode. I suspect it is a code having to do with bad tape transport...I guess the camcorder is toast. I have tried different tapes, its not the tape! Where to get camcorder repaired at reasonable price (its not under any warranty now)?

    Hi

Hit this site when I was searching the web for JVC error codes.
My (pretty old, but hardly used) GR-AX43 shows E03 more frequently.

Thanks in advance for your help!
